How LVSTRY Was Born
Hey friends, we’re Audrey & Jacob-- husband & wife, best friends, soulmates, and (possibly) your future photographers & friends!
We started LVSTRY in 2019 while planning our own wedding because we saw how stressful wedding planning can be! Most importantly though, we also saw this beautiful opportunity to cut through all the noise of pressure and opinions and share our love story in a way that felt good, and looked absolutely magical. We stayed true to our vision, and on October 12th, 2019, we tied the knot and had the most peaceful, joyful day of our lives!
Since you spend all day on your wedding with your photographers, we saw an amazing chance to work closely with couples like you and really make their experience special! We want to pour into your lives, and wedding photography is just the medium we do that with.
Jacob is a professional filmmaker with a photography background, who usually spends his time on film sets, but cares just as deeply about photographing life's moments. Audrey has an event planning background and will be your image editing wizard, creative director, hype queen, timeline creator, bouquet holder, dress fixer, drink runner, and more. Soon she'll be second shooting as well!
We take great pride in our cinematic style-- we want you to look epic
in your photos, so that’s how we shoot. We often look through photos of our couples and pinch ourselves saying “they really do look like they’re in a movie!”
We focus on capturing your personalities through our images. Never cookie-cutter or bland, we named our business LVSTRY because it's all about capturing the essence of your true love.
The couples we work with are the ones who really let their personalities shine through their big day. They can often be described as non-traditional, but they’re still intentional and so caring. They’re thoughtful, unique, and let us in on their ideas, hopes, and dreams so that we can collaborate and make magic together.
From the time you fill out our contact form or send us a message, until after your wedding and your photos are delivered (and beyond!), we’ll be with you to answer your questions, calm your nerves, cheer you on, celebrate your love, and bring your vision to life through cinematic photos that you’ll keep forever! We think of ourselves as more than just a photography team-- we’re people who have been in your shoes and aren’t just there for your money or for a day.

Cinematic Style
Your photos should take you back in time to a point where you truly felt like your best self. They shouldn't just have a look-- they should have a feel (or all the feels).
With Jacob full-time in the film industry, and Audrey being exposed to his incessant analyzation of images, we bring a new and refreshed sense of storytelling to your life. We want to stand out, and we figured everyone should feel and look like the movies!
Professional & Ethical Practices
With experience in the motion picture industry, development direction, and immense coordination and planning, we bring what many photographers don't. When we were getting married we saw blatant issues with the way a few vendors handled themselves in the wedding industry, so we stepped in to change it. Most of the horror stories you've heard are true, but completely avoidable, and those are the things that each of our careers have taught us. Whether its dictating RAW file usage, or waiting until getting home to back up those precious photos, the practice of most wedding photography isn't at the standard it should be. This is something that would never be acceptable on a film set or commercial shoot, so we find it equally unacceptable to hype a couple up on the most important day of their life and treat them any less.
We promise peace of mind, and structurally sound workflows that allow you to live in the moment worry free. We want to be part of a wedding industry that raises the bar for our couples. We’ve got your back!
Genuine Connection
Most importantly, we’ve been in your shoes and we’re here for you! We have a blast with our couples and love to crack jokes, share stories, and make memories. Our creative process is detailed and professional, but our personalities are friendly, relaxed, and fun. We believe joy brings out the best in everyone!

Audrey Geyer
Audrey is a Women’s Lifestyle Strategist and Nonprofit Development Director with a background in special events and the wellness industry. Expect the same enthusiasm, intention, and care for your special day that she would put into a gala or brand event! She believes in empowering women through a unique perspective on wellness, loves the philanthropic sector, and teaches a fire yoga class! When she’s not working, she’s either in the kitchen cooking while watching Grey’s Anatomy or Real Housewives, taking a dance or cycle class, or searching the city for the perfect French fry.
Jacob Geyer
A cinematographer, and First Assistant Camera whose experience on documentaries, commercials, and films ranges from Netflix, to Apple+, Hulu, and Nike. Jacob for years has worked hard to climb the ladder and move up through the ranks of the Motion Picture industry, but chasing images, and making the shot happen doesn't feel like work, it just feels like living. When he’s not shooting and pulling focus, you can find Jacob on a run with Canon & Lulu (the Geyer fur-children), playing Halo, and telling jokes he typically only finds funny.
